About Me

Welcome to my blog! I am a 2011 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Public Relations and Marketing. Right now I am working on another degree, as well as building a non-profit organization for youth and women, called P.O.W.E.R.

Throughout college, I dabbled in a lot of different campus activities — such as Dyverzion Dance Team, the Gay-Straight Alliance, several community service clubs, event planning/promotional groups, and a couple of fashion design/modeling teams. I have a great love for family, writing, modeling, volleyball, children, music, and giving back to the community. I have a full-time job as a loan representative where I’ve been working since 2008. I am family-oriented, outgoing, very optimistic, driven, a great listener, creative and imaginative, an extreme goof-ball, and a sucker for romance! Also, I’m GEORGIA born and raised!

I spent a majority of my life in Augusta, GA. In school, I played violin for six years, was in the Gifted Program, danced in the marching band, and played volleyball. I lived with my amazing, loving, hard-working [and over-protective] parents, Charles and Flora, and my younger sister Jade (who now attends Tuskegee University, AL).  My mom was born and raised on the tiny yet beautiful island of Palau. My dad is from West Palm Beach, Florida. So Jade and I are uniquely half-Palauan, half-African-American. But I am also excited to mention that I have three step-brothers, two half-sisters, and three half-brothers! Lucky me!

Yeah, I’m pretty much your typical girl-next-door who loves fashion, music, studying, shopping, and partying just like anybody else. But read my blog to get to know me and find out what makes me different.

This is my diary of liberal opinions and personal thoughts. Welcome. Read, love, comment, and be blessed! Thanks for visiting.
